Dr. Jason Wenderoth
BSc, MBBS(Hons 1), FRANZCR
Dr Wenderoth graduated from UNSW in 1995 and became a fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2002. He spent 2002 undertaking advanced training in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology at Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia.
He was awarded the inaugural Bill Hare Fellowship by the College in 2003 to undertake advanced training overseas, and traveled to Oxford, where he undertook a further year of Fellowship training in neuroradiology at the Radcliffe Infirmary, before being appointed as a consultant there in December 2003.Dr Wenderoth returned to Sydney in December 2004 after accepting a position as staff specialist at Prince of Wales and Sydney Children’s Hospitals and a VMO position at Liverpool Hospital, where he developed and continues to run interventional neuroradiology services covering the south eastern and south western Area Health Services in Sydney and their affiliated rural zones.
Dr Wenderoth is also a conjoint senior lecturer at University of New South Wales.Dr Wenderoth has keen interests in red wine, rugby union, cricket and his pet Labrador, Maximus.
